Senior Functional Business Analyst

Here's a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities you'll have :

• Understand the structure, policies and operations of the various business lines in order to recommend solutions that will enable it to achieve its objectives;
• Capture the current picture by mapping the main characteristics of business capabilities, functions and processes as well as their interrelationships, and specify the needs in order to establish the approach to achieve the set target(s);
• Participate in the development of business plans, bids to markets and citizen services, planning of deliverables;
• Analyze and observe business processes in order to understand the steps, interdependencies and applications used;
• Conduct interviews to understand business processes to document and optimize them;
• Have had experience in an IT environment;
• Facilitate, document and validate process requirements;
• Participate in the optimization of organizational processes;
• Collect business needs, cooperating with business experts;
• Contribute to project/resource estimation activities;
• Understand the business context and the impact of projects on departmental processes;
• Collaborate in translating business needs into technical objectives for product teams;
• Support the implementation and validate needs and solutions with users (support, validation and approval of functional files);
• Participate in the establishment of development and production priorities;
• Contribute to the production of management reports relevant to business sectors;
• Document operational procedures, user guides and training;
• Participate in the realization of impact analyses;
• Assist in testing throughout iterations and during commissioning.

• Have a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience, particularly in the field of business analysis for large-scale projects;
• Experience in an Agile-SAFe organization (an asset);
• Experience in the transportation sector (an asset);
• Demonstrate experience in system sourcing (an asset);
• Experience in maintaining a corporate standard (an asset);
• Knowledge of public and/or private transportation management (an asset);
• Be comfortable with office tools involving diagrams, spreadsheets, word processors and database software (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio, etc.);
• Have been exposed to software delivery in SAFe Agile and Agile modes, as well as business architecture principles and practices (e.g., repository, BizBok, BPMN, RPA) (an asset);
• Be familiar with process modeling principles and tools.
