Job description
- Identify and describe the functional capabilities required to support business needs;
- Determine which applications to use and analyze the impacts on the chosen solutions;
- Develop IT orientations associated with the proposed solutions;
- Contribute to the realization of solution design files, including non-functional requirements;
- Collaborate closely with the squad or project team in the design process;
- Describe solutions as design diagrams;
- Develop strategies for transition, cohabitation, conversion and offloading when required;
- Communicate effectively with different stakeholders (analysts, developers, architecture consultants, scrum masters, delivery managers, managers);
- Apply the norms and standards in force to ensure the compliance of the solutions.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent;
- Possess a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in a similar role;
- Demonstrate an ability to manage priorities, plan and organize work;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to adapt speech to the audience;
- Be able to quickly escalate unresolved issues;
- Have significant experience as an integration architecture consultant and/or business intelligence solutions architecture advisor (BI/Analytics);
- Have knowledge of Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Lakehouse architectures;
- Demonstrate knowledge of DataOps, DevOps, and CI/CD practices;
- Master data governance principles;
- Have a good understanding of data security and compliance (confidentiality, quality, cataloguing);
- Have expertise in data integration and processing (ETL/ELT, modeling, orchestration, pipeline optimization);
- Have knowledge of advanced analytics (machine learning, artificial intelligence, predictive models);
- Have an understanding of Python, R, Spark environments (a strong asset);
- Master one or more architecture repositories and ArchiMate notation;
- Have knowledge of Power BI, MFT, Denodo, Azure DevOps tools;
- Experience with cloud platforms, including Azure Databricks, Azure Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure ML;
- This position requires working primarily in French, while requiring a functional command of English for daily tasks. This English proficiency is essential for understanding documentation and ensuring professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada.
