Job description
- Implement the infrastructure in accordance with established architecture specifications and operating standards;
- Participate in the identification of solutions to solve delivery issues related to infrastructure;
- Support the IT integrator and the architecture consultant in committee meetings and in the implementation of the solution;
- Analyze telecom and application flows, then analyze or produce firewall requests according to the chosen architecture;
- Submit requests to mount the infrastructure components needed for the project;
- Create and maintain the framework specifications grid throughout the project;
- Contribute to the capacity and performance analysis for the telecom component and produce impact sheets for infrastructure elements;
- Produce the required access template for the project;
- Contribute to the update of the cost input file;
- Participate in the realization of proofs of concept (POC) to validate the technical approaches chosen.
The profile we are looking for is as follows:
- Have between five (5) and nine (9) years of experience in Windows, Linux, cloud platform or operating services administration;
- Have a basic knowledge of waterfall and agile methodologies;
- Have a good command of VM environments (Windows and Linux) – IaaS;
- Understand the concepts related to CPU, RAM and virtualization;
- Know the main services of operating systems, middleware and applications;
- Understand disk organization, file system management, and rights assignment;
- Possess an understanding of telecom components and Container/CaaS environments;
- Know PaaS platforms and application communication flows;
- Understand the concepts of IP addresses, netmasks, routing and NAT;
- Know the main feeds (web, databases, monitoring, etc.);
- Understand how firewalls work and how to manage rules to allow security flows;
- Have an understanding of Active Directory directories;
- Understand the principles of accessing and securing virtual machines;
- Mastering Rights Models (RBAC);
- Know best practices for securing servers, file systems, databases, and application environments.
