Through thick and thin, Cofomo is here to support you

During this unprecedented crisis, we must take care of each other and remain united and strong. By doing so, we will be able to get through this and move forward together.

A message from Régis Desjardins

In these difficult times, your health and safety remains our number-one priority. We have implemented evolving measures aimed at protecting our teams, advisors, clients and partners, as well as their families and the community. Our goal mirrors that of the public health authorities and governments: flatten the growth curve of COVID-19 in order to reduce the number of new cases, avoid overwhelming the health care system and support the extraordinary work being done by the medical teams serving as our guardian angels. Our thanks go out to these dedicated and brave front-line workers who are looking out for the public. Rest assured: Cofomo remains proactive, operational, connected, available and attentive. Since the pandemic broke out, our employees have shown incredible solidarity and teamwork. I’m extremely proud of them. Everyone is at work, knows what needs to be done and is deftly handling their duties. We will weather this storm together. Take care of yourselves and your loved ones!

Régis Desjardins,
President

To our clients and partners

Will the mandates and projects underway continue?
Answer: Absolutely, while following the instructions issued by the public health authorities. Thank you for placing your trust in us. All of our employees have remote access to our secure IT resources to perform their work. Their commitment is unfailing: to ensure the continuity of your business, to protect your assets and interests, and to protect you. In this regard, we can offer you a range of solutions to help you quickly adapt to your new situation. Our Executive Committee is meeting remotely, is closely following developments and is acting, coordinating and communicating information diligently. As the situation evolves, we will keep you abreast of the measures taken by Cofomo. Should you have any doubts, questions or concerns, please contact your Vice-President or Director – Client Partnering.

What about your IT capabilities?

Answer: All of our systems are operating as usual. A contingency plan is in place to make sure that all our services, infrastructure, cloud solutions, environments and systems are operating smoothly. This plan also applies to data management, including access, security and backup. It allows us to anticipate, foresee and handle any issues that may arise, as well as control any emergency situation and minimize repercussions. No matter what happens, our capacities are intact and you can count on us for timely interventions.

What measures have you taken with regard to the COVID-19 pandemic?

Answer: Your health is paramount, which is why Cofomo has implemented the recommendations issued by the World Health Organization (WHO) and Provincial and Federal governments:

  • work remotely, where possible
  • avoid close contact (social distancing)
  • wash hands frequently
  • avoid touching eyes and mouth
  • follow respiratory hygiene guidelines
  • self-isolate at home as soon as symptoms develop (fever, cough, difficulty breathing)
  • avoid travel

To our applicants

What will happen to the résumé I sent you following a call for applications?
Answer:
People are central to our commitment and drive our actions. All applicants who responded to our calls for applications and who were contacted by Cofomo can rest assured that their files are in good hands and will progress as planned. Our teams are working hard. Our processes and our management systems are fully operational.

Action, confidence and resilience

Cofomo would like to thank its teams for their unwavering professionalism and dedication to their colleagues, clients, partners and applicants. Without them, the actions taken to date and the actions that will be taken in response to the evolving situation would not be successful. Without our teams, none of the tasks to be completed and none of our current projects or mandates would be able to move forward in the face of this crisis. You are our source of strength and inspiration.
