Job description
- Participate in the technical design, prototyping and validation of solutions with users and stakeholders;
- Estimate the work, collaborate in team meetings and contribute to the resolution of implementation issues;
- Develop, maintain and document robust, reusable and scalable web applications, APIs, services and microservices;
- Translate functional and technical needs into quality application solutions;
- Apply best practices in development, code review, testing, performance and security;
- Perform unit testing and contribute to integrated, regression, performance and user experience testing;
- Participate in continuous integration, deployment and DevOps practices in a Microsoft Azure environment;
- Diagnose and resolve application incidents when their expertise is required;
- Support less experienced developers and ensure the transfer of expertise to internal teams.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, software engineering or computer engineering;
- Have at least eight (8) years of experience in generalist development, including frontal and dorsal components;
- Proficient in front-end development, including Angular, HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design principles;
- Have a strong background in back-end development with C#, .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC or Razor Pages;
- Have a good knowledge of service-oriented architectures, microservices, REST APIs and SQL/SQL Server databases;
- Have participated in cloud projects in agile mode in a Microsoft Azure environment;
- Be proficient in DevOps tools and practices, including Azure DevOps, Git, Boards, CI/CD Pipelines, or Test Plans;
- Experience with testing, debugging, continuous integration and application performance monitoring tools;
- Have already coached or supervised less experienced developers;
- Experiencein Azure DevOps configuration, an asset.
