Job description
- Analyze the functional and software needs related to the stories of the product backlog;
- Participate in the estimation, cutting and execution of development tasks;
- Develop, document and maintain the required software components;
- Support developers in resolving technical issues and escalate blocking elements as needed;
- Contribute to the modeling of business objects and data;
- Apply software architecture guidelines and best practices for object-oriented or service-oriented development;
- Perform and document unit, functional, system, inter-system and automated tests;
- Participate in TDD, BDD, continuous integration and code quality practices;
- Support acceptance testing and integrated cross-system functional testing;
- Participate in the implementation, post-production break-in and evolution of solutions, standards and development tools.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, computer engineering or a relevant discipline;
- Have at least eight years of experience in information technology, including five years as an analyst-programmer in an organization of comparable size;
- Have at least six years of experience in .NET programming, with C# or VB;
- Have at least five years of experience with Azure DevOps, Git, TFS or a comparable source code management tool;
- Have at least five years of experience in object-oriented development, acquired in large-scale projects;
- Proficient in several modern software development practices, including design patterns, TDD, automated testing, dependency injection, SOLID principles, Clean Code, and DevSecOps;
- Have at least three years of experience with several of the following technologies or concepts: JavaScript, TypeScript, MVC, Angular, Blazor, REST or SOAP APIs, HTML5, Vue.js, React, Web Accessibility, and SQL.
