Prestigious guests of honor

VMworld 2018 will welcome five guests of honor that you will have the privilege to meet. Among them, of course, will be leaders in VMware, such as Pat Gelsinger (CEO), Ray O’Farell (EVP & CTO) and Sanjay Poonen (COO, Customer Operations). Other headliners of the event include: Andy Jassy, CEO of Amazon Web Services and Malala Yousafzai, Nobel Peace Prize winner.

Announcements expected on the evolution of virtualization

Expect VMworld 2018 to cover the following important announcements and developments in the industry:

  • Stronger partnership between VMware and AWS with new products integration announcement (e.g. VMware cloud in AWS). In addition to, more AWS data center supporting VMware Disaster Recovery in more countries.
  • Roadmap of the merge of VMware network products (NSX, NSX-T, etc.).
  • Integration of Pivotal Container Services and the beta version of Kubernetes into vSphere.
  • More announcements for VMware hyper-convergence and SDDC solutions.
  • New security enhancement inside VMware vSphere.
